BirdLife South Africa
The Greater Limpopo Birding Route is run a as a BirdLife South Africa project, with BLSA employing the project manager and supplies logistical and fund raising support. BirdLife mission is to promote the enjoyment, conservation and understanding and study of wild birds and their habitat. It is the leading organization in South Africa for anyone interested in wild birds and their survival. It have 8000 members in 40 branches and affiliates throughout South Africa. BirdLife South Africa has powerful international links and are the Partner organization of BirdLife International, the world's largest voluntary organization of nationally-based organizations, present in 103 countries worldwide.

Limpopo Tourism and Parks
Limpopo Tourism and Parks Board have committed to the development of the Greater Limpopo Birding Route and the development of bird guides and birding infra-structure in the provincial parks that are listed in the birding routes. The LPTB have supported the printing of this booklet and have committed to making birding a priority in the future developments in the parks. All the Limpopo Parks are shown by the LTPB logo next to each site.

Komatiland Forests and Ecotourism
A number of the birding sites and the Venda 4 x 4 are on land under the control of Komatiland Forests, these sites are shown by their logo. KLF's eco-tourism division has a supported the development and management of birding routes on it properties, and have supported the printing of this booklet and will l in the future make some of it's longer walking trails more Birder Friendly by training birding guides to lead the trails. In Limpopo these include: Entabeni Overnight Hiking Trail, Soutpansberg Overnight Hiking Trail, Magoebaskloof Overnight Hiking Trail.

The three National Parks in Limpopo are all fantastic birding sites and have been described in the Booklet, SAN Parks have supported the development of the Greater Limpopo Birding Routes and have excellent birding information to supplement this booklet on their website listed below.

Swiss South African Co-operation Initiative (SSACI)
The Swiss-South African Co-operation Initiative (SSACI) is a South African development-finance agency funded by Swiss and South African companies in collaboration with the Swiss Agency for Development and Co-operation (SDC). It is a unique public-private partnership between a government agency (SDC) and private-sector corporations, aimed at promoting the social and economic development of South African youth.
SSACI have committed to supporting the Greater Limpopo Birding Routes for the next two years to ensure that the community campsites set up get the support needed and that more guides are trained and supported in the development of their businesses over the next two years.
