Regional Specials are divided into four categories, which are:

1. Top 10 birds
   The Top 10 birds selected here are resident species that you will not find elsewhere in South Africa.
2. Regional Specials (resident)
   Regional Specials are not common elsewhere in South Africa, but are relatively easy to find here.
3. Regional Specials (non-resident)
   Non-resident Regional Specials are birds that are not common elsewhere in South Africa, but can be found here in the summer months.
